Basic Life Support training will be provided for new volunteers by Northern Ireland Ambulance Service NIAS. They are providing this training to support efforts to enhance and expand the existing Erne East Community Responder Scheme.
Training
For new responders will be spread over two days; (candidates must attend both days in full)
NI Ambulance Services have insisted that all participants must;
- Complete an application form
- Have ACCESS NI clearance, prior to attending the training
Level of Fitness
Applicants should also be aware that a reasonable level of fitness is required to pass the training which includes the delivery of CPR for a sustained period.
If we are over subscribed for this training, a selection process may be used to shortlist applicants.
